Computer engineering is mainly focus on software development. In general, they design, evaluate and test the programmes. In is very important in information technology market nowadays. Every company trying to improve the working efficiency and involve in network marketing, they need to install the suitable programme to achieve the goal. Graduates from this course usually work as software developer, network administrator and java developer. Demand for ICT professionals in the country is still growing and ICT jobs are in higher demand such as software development managers, lead software developers, UNIX specialists, senior system engineers, IT managers, web sphere application developers, system engineers, network administrators and helpdesk analysts. National ICT Association of Malaysia (Pikom) expects a 5% increase in an ICT professional’s average salary in 2012, to RM6800 a month.
