>>> KEY TOWARDS SUCCESS IS JUST EFFORT, CREATIVE,PREPARATION AND APPRECIATION OF EVERY POSSIBLE CHANCES !!!!
A lot of areas in manufacturing engineering overlap with
industrial engineering but they are not the same. Manufacturing engineering is
concerned with the technical aspect of the manufacturing process (research
& development and systems & equipment) . Manufacturing engineers work
on the development of a technology and at the same time utilize the best
production strategy economically and effectively.
On the other hand, industrial engineering is more closely related
to management science. Industrial engineering majors learn about optimization and management of production systems that includes production line management,
inventory management, supply chain management and quality control. In short,
industrial engineering not only constitutes manufacturing engineering but its
complexity also takes into account various factors affecting industries and
ways to improve the industry.
Malaysia’s engineering supporting industries, which
include the moulds and dies, machining, metal stamping, casting, heat treatment
and plating/surface treatment industries, have developed rapidly over the last
three decades in tandem with the overall growth of the country’s manufacturing
sector. Besides, manufacturing engineers are gradually replacing the mechanical
engineers in controlling manufacturing process. This trend may also improve
employment rate of manufacturing engineering.
Many people wonder among the four main engineering, which one has
the highest pay. Some say chemical, some say mechanic, but according to survey
is almost same. Engineers’ salary mainly related to experiences, qualification
and capability. Determine which field is more suitable to you and make yourself
more competitive is far more important than choosing the field. If we really
want to compare the field, the most lucrative should be the software
engineering.
Apart from that, there is a misconception that engineering are
extremely high salary job. Some people may tell you they can earn up to 6
digits. This is just because the gap between high skilled professionals and
ordinary professionals is very big. It is a phenomenon generally happen in
developing country; in China the difference is even much bigger. Anyway,
engineer still earn higher than average.
The numbers of engineer is still insufficient, thus it is
predicted that demand of engineer in Malaysia will keep increasing for several
years. Even though highly in demand and highly paid, but among the
professionals, they draw a comparatively low remuneration package (according to
president of IEM). But one thing attractive is it has high employment rate.
