Disasters occur due to the danger caused by global warming. Deforestation, the use of chlorofluorocarbon, open burning, industrial and vehicle emissions as well as forest fires have affected the ozone layer which has allowed more ultraviolet rays to penetrate into the world.

This has resulted in global warming in all parts of the world. The ice polar are melting at a fast pace and this caused the sea and ocean levels to rise. In addition, lower regions are being flooded and crops are being destroyed. This has reduced yields causing food shortage.

Global warming has reduced heavy rain to a trickle. As a result, there is parched soil and desertification is common. More and more agricultural plots are becoming barren land, Animals and migratory birds face imminent extinction due t warmer region becoming hotter.

Global warming has caused rivers, lakes, dams, canals, and streams to dry up completely. This has resulted in economic and social turmoil. Countries are facing the wrath of mother nature due to the lackadaisical attitude towards global warming.

Seas and oceans are becoming warmer and marine life cannot spawn in such high temperature. The fishing industry is facing a shortage in marine life and the nation are concerned about the dwindling marine life. If this situation remains in long run, humanity definitely will face a great shortage of food supplies.

Canadians are using are-conditioners during summer now when it is not necessary before. Global warming has caused an increase in skin cancer, cataract and heat strokes. Many die from heat exhaustion and this is a disturbing factor.

The usage of machinery and industrialization emits a constant toxic cocktail of harmful gases which has caused global warming too. Huge tracts of land have been cleared and there is no shade from sunlight. The rainforest is being depleted at a fast pace due to the opening of new infrastructures, townships, recreational parks and industrial zones. Coupled with overzealous logging, the situation is out of hand.

Therefore, mankind must make amends that the environment remains a sanctuary for all. It is pertinent for nations of the world to co-operate and make changes in order to curd global warming. A concerted effort needs to be carried out promptly to prevent further destruction to the universe.
